City Rail Link

Scope of Work

PCR was engaged on multiple packages across the City Rail Link (CRL) project, New Zealand’s largest transport infrastructure development. Our scope included concrete repairs, architectural coatings, and protective finishes to meet the demanding durability and aesthetic requirements of a high-traffic public transport environment.

Our Solution

  • Concrete Repairs – Localised patch repairs and re-profiling to reinstate durability and ensure consistent architectural finishes across exposed structures.
  • Ecotone Coatings – Application of the Ecotone system for long-lasting colour stability and uniform appearance, tailored to the architectural design intent.
  • Anti-Graffiti Coating – Installation of a NZTA-approved protective system to safeguard exposed surfaces against graffiti and environmental staining, ensuring long-term maintainability.

Outcome

PCR delivered high-quality repair and finishing solutions that met both the technical and architectural requirements of the CRL project. Our work contributed to the durability, aesthetic consistency, and ongoing maintainability of this landmark infrastructure, demonstrating PCR’s ability to combine specialist repair techniques with long-life architectural coatings on complex civil works.
